You can find us on the third floor of House Number 190/A in Village Shadi Khampur. We are located right across from the MCD School. It’s in Block-WZ. Being on the third floor gives us a bit of a view of the village rooftops. It’s an old part of New Delhi, in the South West district. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, so you have to be careful when you're coming up. We’ve been here for a few years now. The foundation is just a small office space with two rooms. It gets quite warm in the summer because we are right under the roof and the sun beats down all day. We have a few old fans going all the time to keep the air moving. It’s a bit noisy when the school kids are outside for their break, but we’ve gotten used to the sound. We have some old wooden desks and a tall metal shelf full of ledgers and files. It feels very lived-in and comfortable. We aren't a big organization with lots of employees in suits. It's just a few of us who care about the work we are doing. We spend a lot of time talking to the local people who come in to visit. Sometimes we have to move heavy boxes around just to make enough space for guests to sit down. It’s a bit cramped, but we make it work. It’s a real place.
