Standard Auto Store

Standard Auto Store is tucked away in the Kashmiri Gate area, right near the old Minerva Cinema. If you know that part of the city, you know it stays pretty crowded with traffic and people moving about all day long. We’ve been operating here for a while, selling various auto parts to people who need to keep their vehicles moving. It’s a small shop but we try to keep it packed with the things people ask for most often. We spend a lot of our time looking through catalogs or climbing up ladders to find a specific spare part tucked away on a high shelf. It gets dusty in here with all the boxes, but we know where everything is. We talk to a lot of mechanics and car owners who are usually in a bit of a hurry to get back on the road. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the inventory well. Sometimes the noise from the street is quite a lot, but you get used to it after a few years. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city, just a reliable place where you can find what you need near the gate. We open early and stay until the evening rush starts to die down. It’s a simple life, selling parts and talking about cars with whoever walks through the door near Minerva Cinema.
