Mehal International

Mehal International is based out of Yad-Bhawan, which is located at 116-A in Kamla Nagar, Delhi. Vineet Sharma is the one who mostly looks after things here. If you’ve ever been to Kamla Nagar, you know it’s a total maze of shops and students from the university nearby. Our building is tucked away in one of those busy streets where there’s always someone shouting or a scooter honking. Inside Yad-Bhawan, things are a bit more organized, but it’s still a busy place with boxes being moved around and people talking on their phones. We handle international trade stuff, so there is always a lot of talk about shipping dates and customs. The office itself is pretty basic, just some sturdy desks and old metal cupboards for the files. We don’t really care much for decorations, we just need a place to work. During the summer, the Delhi heat is pretty brutal, so the air conditioner is usually struggling to keep up with us. We have been in this part of Delhi for quite a while, and we’ve seen the market change a lot around us. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking near 116-A, so we usually tell people to just take an auto-rickshaw. It’s a noisy, hectic place to be, but it’s where we do our business. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished every day without much fuss.
