Mani Shankar Sharma Clinic

The Mani Shankar Sharma Clinic is located at 475 76 Main Road in Khari Baoli. If you know Khari Baoli, you know how incredibly busy it gets with all the shops and people moving around. Being on the Main Road means we hear the noise of the traffic and the markets all day long. It is a small clinic, run by Dr. Sharma and a couple of us helping out with the patients. We see a lot of locals and people who work in the nearby shops. It is a very practical place. We do not have fancy waiting rooms with magazines; it is just chairs and a desk where the doctor sits. We spend most of our time dealing with common illnesses like coughs, fevers, or stomach issues. People just walk in off the street because they know us and they know where we are. The building is older, which is common for this part of town. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of all the construction and the spice trade nearby, but we do our best to sweep it out every morning. We start early and stay open until the evening. It is a lot of standing and talking, but it feels good to be right in the middle of Khari Baoli. We have seen the area change over the years, but the clinic stays pretty much the same. We just provide regular checkups for anyone who needs them on the Main Road.
