Maharshi Charak

Maharshi Charak is located at 1443/1 Kingsway Camp Autrom Ln Nr North Campus Opposite Bbm Depot. This part of town is always full of energy because of the students coming from North Campus. You can hear the big buses at the BBM Depot across the road starting up early in the morning, which is a sound you just get used to after a week. Autrom Lane is one of those spots that feels tucked away even though it’s near everything. The building is an old one, and the stairs are a little narrow, so you have to watch your step when you’re coming in. We keep the place open through the heat and the rain, and honestly, the humidity in this part of Delhi can be something else. There’s usually a lot of paper stacked on the desk and some old calendars on the wall that we forget to change. Outside, you’ll see people rushing to catch the bus or students standing around talking about their exams. It’s a busy corner of the world, but inside the shop, it stays relatively quiet except for the ceiling fan. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a few minutes and we just sit there in the dark waiting for the generator to kick in. It’s just a normal day-to-day life here near the depot. We don't really do much to change the decor, it stays the same way it’s been for years.
