Maharaja Agarsen Hospital

Being in Phase 1 of Ashok Vihar, specifically in Block D, means we are in a well-known part of the neighborhood. Maharaja Agarsen Hospital has been sitting here for a long time. It’s a sturdy building that shows its age in a few spots, but it serves its purpose. We have a lot of different sections for different medical needs. The ground floor is usually the most hectic because that’s where everyone enters and asks for directions. We have some security guards at the doors and people at the counters handling the records. It’s a lot of talking and typing all day long. The air conditioning hums in the background, though some rooms are cooler than others. We have rows of seating that are almost always full. People come here from all over Ashok Vihar Phase 1 because it’s a central spot. The parking area outside is usually tight, with cars squeezed in wherever they fit. Inside, we just go about the business of a hospital. It’s not about being fancy; it’s about having the rooms and the beds ready. We have a lot of different shifts, so the faces change but the work stays the same. The walls are mostly white or off-white, and we have the usual signs pointing the way to the lab or the X-ray room. It’s just a regular, busy hospital environment where we do our best to get through the day.
