Maha Laxmi Rabori Bhandar

Maha Laxmi Rabori Bhandar is out on Nand Gram Road in Ghaziabad, specifically at C-140. It is a busy road and there is always something going on right outside our doors. We have been here for a long time, and the locals in Ghaziabad know the spot well. The shop is a simple one. We don't have any of those modern decorations or bright neon signs. It’s just a plain front with our name on it. Inside, it smells like the goods we keep, and there is usually a bit of dust because of the road construction that never seems to end. We have a few benches for people to sit if they are waiting, but mostly it is a quick in-and-out kind of place. The building at C-140 has been standing for decades and you can tell by the way the door creaks. We don't mind it though. It gives the place character. Our days start early when the sun is just coming up and the traffic on Nand Gram Road is still light. By noon, it’s a different story. It gets loud and hot, but we just keep at it. We are a small team, mostly family and a couple of helpers who feel like family. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People just know where we are and they come back when they need something. That’s how we like it.
