Lintron Automotive Components

Down here at 160 in the Gurunanak Auto Market, it’s always loud. Being in Kashmere Gate means you’re right in the middle of all the car part chaos. Lintron Automotive Components is tucked away in this spot, and if you’ve been to this market, you know it’s a maze of shops and narrow lanes. We spend most of the day surrounded by boxes of different components. It’s not a quiet office job. Most of the time, I’m talking to mechanics or shop owners who need something specific for a repair job. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes finding that one small part takes a bit of climbing. We get a lot of grease on the floor and the counters, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with auto stuff. The sun barely hits the inside of the shop because of how the buildings are crowded together. We usually have the radio playing in the background, though you can barely hear it over the horns outside. It gets really hot in the summer months, and the fan just moves the warm air around, but we stay focused on the inventory. People stop by for a quick chat or to check if a shipment arrived from the factory. It’s a simple setup, really. We just keep track of what’s coming in and what’s going out to the local garages.
