Landcsape Architect

You can find us over in Adarsh Nagar, specifically Lane 08 near Azadpur. We’ve been at C-231 for a good bit now. Being landscape architects in Delhi means we spend a lot of time thinking about how to make small spaces look better. The city is crowded, so every little bit of green space helps. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees and a fancy lobby. It’s just us here, working on garden plans and outdoor layouts. Sometimes we are out getting our boots dirty at a site, and other times we are stuck at the desk trying to get a drawing just right. The traffic in this part of Delhi can be a real headache, but we’re used to it by now. We work with plants, stones, and dirt mostly. It’s very practical work. People come by when they want their backyard fixed up or if a new building needs some trees put in the right spots. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just look at a patch of ground and try to figure out what would grow well there or where a path should go. It’s a lot of sketching and then seeing if it actually works in real life. If you’re in the neighborhood, you might see us loading up the car or checking out some new saplings. It’s a lot of work but it is okay.
