Laaca India Foundation

Our office is situated on New Rohtak Road in Karol Bagh. We are at House No 5C/79 on the upper ground floor. Karol Bagh is always full of energy and people, so it’s never quiet around here. The Laaca India Foundation is based in this spot because it’s central for everyone in North Delhi. We have a few rooms where we manage all our projects. It isn't a sleek or modern office. It feels more like a place where people actually spend a lot of time working. We have stacks of files and some old computers that we use every day. We don't really care about having the newest equipment as long as we can get things done. We aren't interested in using corporate marketing talk. We just tell people what’s happening in plain English. It’s a very hands-on environment here. Most days, we are busy with meetings or trying to sort out various logistics. We don't have a large staff, just a few of us who are really into the work. We drink a lot of tea and stay late quite often. The neighborhood is very lively, and we try to bring that same spirit into what we do. We aren't a distant or unreachable group. If you drop by, you’ll find us right in the middle of our daily tasks. We stay focused on being practical and honest in everything we do here.
