Khoth Industries

Out in Turbhe Midc, Khoth Industries sits at D 378 in the Ttc area. It’s a heavy industrial zone, so the air always smells a bit like metal and exhaust. Our building is a typical warehouse style, tall ceilings and concrete floors that stay cold in the winter. We deal with a lot of heavy machinery and raw materials, so there is a constant hum in the background. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice shirt. We’re usually covered in a bit of grit by the time the first break rolls around. The logistics of moving things in and out of the Midc can be a headache with all the trucks blocking the narrow roads. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with drivers or checking inventory counts. It’s practical work. There isn’t much room for sitting around. When we do get a minute, we usually just hang out by the loading dock. The office is a small partitioned area in the corner where the light is a bit dim, but it serves its purpose for the billing. We’ve been here long enough that we know the guys at the neighboring units. We help each other out when someone needs a forklift or a spare part. It’s a tough environment, but there’s a good sense of just getting the job done without any fuss or unnecessary meetings.
