Khandelwal Electronics is right in the middle of the madness at 1701, Bhagirath Palace. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how crowded it gets. The lanes are narrow, and there are wires hanging everywhere overhead. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes. We deal with all sorts of electronic components, and sometimes it feels like we are playing a game of Tetris just to find a specific part for a customer. It is loud, it is dusty, and it is usually very hot, but there is an energy to Bhagirath Palace that you don't find anywhere else. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of the time, we are standing behind a counter or climbing a ladder to reach the top shelf. Customers are always popping in, asking for this bulb or that capacitor, and we do our best to help them out. The lunch break is usually just a quick meal eaten while sitting on a stool. We have been in this market for a long time, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a community of traders. We don't use big marketing words because everyone here knows what they are looking for. It is a simple, honest way of doing business in one of the busiest markets in the country, just getting through the daily list.
