Kbs Lubricants (India)

If you find yourself near Kashmere Gate, you might have seen our shop. Kbs Lubricants (India) is located at Shop No.4, right by the Collage Wall in Bara Bazar. It’s a very old and crowded part of the city. We sell oils and lubricants for all sorts of vehicles and machinery. The shop is small, and there are containers stacked up everywhere. It gets pretty noisy outside with all the rickshaws and people moving about, but that is the charm of Bara Bazar. We have been here quite some time. Most of our customers are mechanics or local truck drivers who need something reliable. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just me and a couple of helpers. We spend most of the day lifting heavy cans and keeping track of what’s in stock. Sometimes we run out of a specific brand, and we have to wait for the next delivery truck to squeeze through the narrow lanes. Dealing with lubricants means our hands are usually a bit greasy by the end of the shift, but we don’t mind. It's an honest living. People come to us because they know where we are and that we’ve been here for years. We don't do much advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people in. It's a simple business. We open early in the morning and close when the market starts to quiet down. Every day is pretty much the same, and we like it that way. It keeps us busy and grounded.
