Vinu Auto Parts is right in the middle of the Nehru Motor Market at No. 2707. We are on Lothian Road, which is right in the heart of the Kashmere Gate area. If you’ve been here, you know it’s one of the busiest markets you can find. There are people and parts everywhere. Our shop is quite small, so we have to be very organized with how we stack our inventory on Lothian Road. We’ve been part of this scene for a long time, and we’ve seen the market change through the years. It’s a place where you have to talk loud to be heard over the noise of the street. We don't use any corporate lingo or try to sound like a big company. We are just a local parts dealer. The guys here have been working together for ages, so we’re more like a family than coworkers. We drink a lot of tea and handle a lot of heavy boxes. It’s a tiring job sometimes, but it’s what we know. People come to us because we are right there in the Nehru Motor Market and we usually have what they are looking for. We don't have a big mission statement. We just want to sell auto parts and make a living. It’s a crowded, busy, and honest way to spend the day. We just try to get the orders right and keep moving.
