National Auto Machinery Co.

It’s been a long time since we set up shop here at No. 218/4 Prem Gali. Being in Kashmere Gate means things are always busy around here. You probably know how this area is, lots of traffic and people looking for parts. National Auto Machinery Co. is basically just us working through the day. We deal with various machinery parts for vehicles. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. The shop isn't huge, but we keep it organized enough to find what people need. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a truck unloading, and we just have to wait it out. It is what it is. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the work stays mostly the same. Customers come in with old parts that need matching up. We spend a lot of time looking through shelves. It’s a bit dusty, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. It’s just a place where mechanical stuff gets handled. If you walk down Prem Gali, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing special, just a regular shop floor. We drink a lot of chai while talking to the regulars. Sometimes the fans don't work right in the summer, but we manage. We’ve got a lot of heavy metal bits sitting around. It's just honest work, really. Nothing more to say about it. We’re here most days except Sundays.
