Hammer Auto Industries is located at No. 374 Kashmere Gate. If you’ve ever been to Kashmere Gate, you know exactly what it’s like. It is one of the busiest hubs for this kind of work in the whole city. The streets are always packed, and there is a constant hum of activity that never really stops until late at night. Our shop at No. 374 is right in the thick of it. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, packed with everything we need to do our jobs. It’s a bit of a maze inside, and we are constantly moving boxes around to get to what we need. The air is always thick with the smell of the market. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy furniture. We just have our workstations and our stock. Most days are a whirlwind of phone calls and people walking in with questions. It’s a demanding place to work because of the pace, but we’ve been here so long that we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves in a quiet office. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life, and we are proud of the work we put in every day. When the sun goes down and the shutters go shut, we’re usually ready for a bit of quiet.
