Auto Nation

Auto Nation is located at No. 704 Chhota Bazar, right in the Tilak Gali area of Kashmere Gate. If you have ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how tight the lanes are. It is always packed with vehicles and people carrying parts. We have been operating out of this small shop for quite a while. It is mostly greasy work and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep it. We deal with a lot of different car parts. There are shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, filled with boxes that we have stacked over the years. We know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. Kashmere Gate is the heart of the auto market, so it is the right place for us. It gets really hot in the summers, and the noise from the traffic never stops. We usually have tea delivered a couple of times a day from the stall down the lane. That is when we take a break. We are not the kind of place with a fancy website or a marketing person. We just talk to the mechanics and the drivers who come in looking for a specific bolt or a gear. Sometimes they stay to chat for a bit. It is a lot of manual labor and long hours, but it is what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and work.
