Kapoor Cards & Arts is located in the middle of Chawri Bazar inside Aggarwal Market at 222/11. Chawri Bazar is the place everyone goes for paper, and we’ve been part of that scene for a long time. Our shop at 222/11 is filled with heavy bundles of cardstock and sample books for wedding invitations. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the stacks of paper reaching toward the ceiling. You can always hear the sound of printing machines or cutting blades coming from somewhere nearby in the market. We don’t have a polished office with a receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. Kapoor Cards & Arts is a family-run operation, and we do most of the work ourselves. We don't have a lot of fancy technology; we still rely on our eyes and hands to make sure the printing looks okay and the colors are right. During the wedding season, the market gets so crowded that it’s hard to even walk through the doors, but we just keep working through the chaos. We drink a lot of chai and try to stay on top of the orders as they come in. We don't use marketing talk or try to sound bigger than we are. We are just a local shop in a famous market, doing our best to get the paper and ink right for the people who visit us. It’s hard work, but we are used to the pace.
