Johri Instruments

Our workshop at Johri Instruments is located at 299/12 Chandan Vihar in the Sant Nagar area. It is a more residential part of town compared to the huge commercial markets, so it is a bit more peaceful here. We work on various instruments, which requires us to spend a lot of time sitting still and focusing on very small details. The space we have isn't particularly large, but it is enough for our workbenches and all the tools we have collected over the years. We spend the morning going through calibration tasks and making sure all the instruments are reading correctly. It involves a lot of fine-tuning and patience. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who really know how to handle the equipment. Most of our day is spent with our hands on the tools rather than sitting at a computer. We do not have a flashy storefront to attract people. The customers who need our services usually know exactly where to find us in Sant Nagar. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a minute, but mostly we stay busy with the technical side of the business. It is a lot of repetitive checking and double-checking everything. We keep our logs in simple paper notebooks. The lighting in the shop is the most important thing so we can see what we are doing.
