Nai Sarak is a place that never really sleeps, and our spot at 2622/3 New Market is right in the thick of it. Jindal Traders has been part of this neighborhood for years. If you’ve ever walked through the lanes of Old Delhi, you know how crowded it gets with the rickshaws and people carrying heavy loads on their backs. Our shop isn't huge, but it holds everything we need to operate. The walls are lined with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with stock. Most mornings start with clearing the dust that settles overnight because that’s just how it is in this part of town. We spend a lot of time talking to people who walk in looking for specific items. It’s not a shiny corporate office, just a solid place with a concrete floor and a heavy iron shutter that we roll up every morning at nine. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we keep a torch handy in the drawer. The tea shops nearby are always busy, and the smell of fried food drifts in during the afternoons. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here by name. We just focus on getting the stock in and selling it to whoever needs it. It’s simple work, really. No need for anything complicated when you’re based in a market like Nai Sarak where everyone is just trying to get through their own list for the day.
