Jansarokar Foundation

Our foundation is way up on the 4th floor of House No. 5 in Mahendra Park. We are on Street No. 39 Blk-H, right near the Mla Office. It’s quite a climb to get to the top, but the view of the neighborhood is actually pretty good from up here. The Jansarokar Foundation is just a small group of us trying to make things work. Being so close to the Mla Office means there is always a lot of activity on our street, with people coming and going all day long. We mostly deal with local concerns and helping people navigate different problems they have. Our office is pretty basic, just some plastic chairs and a table where we keep the laptop and some ledgers. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets it. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks from Mahendra Park who drop in. It’s not a polished business; it’s more of a community effort. We make mistakes sometimes, like forgetting to buy more pens or losing track of a specific file for a minute, but we always get it sorted. We just want to be a reliable place for people in our part of town to come to when they have nowhere else to go. It’s a long walk up those stairs, but we’re here every day regardless of the weather.
