We are located in Block AE of Shalimar Bagh, specifically at Shop Number 7. It’s a bit unusual for a hospital to be in a shop unit, but we’ve made it work for a long time now. Shalimar Bagh is a busy place, and Block AE is always full of people going about their business. Being a child and maternity hospital, the place is usually filled with the sound of babies crying or kids playing in the small corner we set aside for them. We have a few posters on the walls about basic health, but they’ve started to curl at the edges a bit. The space is a little tight, especially on Monday mornings when everyone seems to come in at once. We have a small counter where we handle the paperwork, and it’s usually piled high with folders. The staff here has been together for years, so we all know how to work around each other in the small space. There’s a park nearby where parents sometimes take their kids after an appointment, which is nice. We don’t have a big corporate office or a PR team. It’s just us in Shop 7, trying to help out the families in Shalimar Bagh as best as we can. We stay open late most nights because that’s when people need us most. It’s a busy, noisy, and very human kind of place to work.
