Jai Dayal Cards

Our shop, Jai Dayal Cards, is located at Chawri Bazar, Charkhe Walan 4047. If you walk down the main street and turn into Charkhe Walan, you will find us eventually. It’s an old building, and the number 4047 is painted right above the door. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with paper and card stock of all different colors. We have been working here for many years, and the walls are covered with samples we have made over time. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two people are inside the shop, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent dealing with customers who are looking for something specific for their events. We don't use any big words or fancy sales tactics. We just show what we have and tell them how much it will cost. The heat in Chawri Bazar during the summer can be tough, but we have a small fan that keeps us going. The streets are always full of people and rickshaws, so it can be quite a mission to get here, but that’s just how it is in this part of Delhi. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the market, just a reliable one where you can get your cards done without a lot of hassle. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. Most of our customers come through word of mouth, which is fine by us.
