If you know Sadar Bazar, you know how crowded it gets. We are located at 1101 in the Bartan Market area, specifically near Pan Mandi. It’s a place where you have to watch your step because of all the porters and carts moving through the narrow lanes. Our shop is filled with brushes of every kind you can imagine. We have industrial ones that are heavy and small ones for more delicate work. The air always has a bit of a dusty smell because of the bristles and the wooden handles we stock. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a warehouse feel where the boxes are stacked up to the ceiling. We spend a lot of our time counting stock or talking to buyers who come from all over the country. The noise from the market outside never really stops until late at night. Sometimes it’s hard to even hear the phone ringing over the shouting of the street vendors. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we know the other shopkeepers in the Bartan Market well. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just show people the brushes we have and tell them the price. It’s a very old-school way of doing business in a very busy part of Delhi. Dealing with the heat and the crowds is just part of the job every day. We keep the inventory moving and try to stay organized in the chaos.
