You can find us on the second floor of 216-217 Shankar Road. New Rajindra Nagar is a crowded part of New Delhi, so finding a parking spot is usually the hardest part of our morning. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, and while it gets noisy with the traffic outside, it’s a good place to be. We have a lot of stairs to climb every day, which keeps us moving I guess. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with desks, computers, and a lot of blueprints that never seem to stay organized. Construction is a tough business in the city, especially with all the rules and the constant rush. We spend most of our time on the phone or meeting with people who need things built. It’s not a glamorous life, mostly just checking figures and making sure the materials are arriving at the sites on time. We drink a lot of chai to keep going. The weather in Delhi is either too hot or a bit chilly, so we’re always adjusting the windows. We don’t have a fancy reception or a big sign, just a door with our name on it. People come in, we talk about the work, and then we get back to it. It is a straightforward way of doing things. We’re just regular people trying to keep the projects on track without too much fuss.
