Harish Chandra (India) Limited has an office at 113-A in Kamla Nagar, Delhi. If you’ve been to Kamla Nagar, you know it is always crowded with students and shoppers. Our building is right in the middle of all that 110007 energy. It’s a bit noisy outside, but once you come inside, it’s just a normal office. We have been here for a long time. There are stacks of files and boxes of records dating back years. We don't have any of those modern glass partitions or fancy coffee machines. We just have a few old desks and a water cooler that hums all day. The staff here has been together for a while, so we don't need to say much to get the work done. We handle various corporate matters and keep track of things for the company. It’s a lot of typing and phone calls. Sometimes the traffic in Delhi makes it a nightmare to get to work, but we show up anyway. We don't try to sound like a big fancy corporation. We are just people doing a job in a busy part of the city. We have a small tea break in the afternoon, which is usually the highlight of the day. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or advertisements. We just focus on the task at hand and making sure the records are correct. It’s a steady rhythm for the team.
