Hard Strips (India)

Hard Strips (India) is located on the first floor of the Raghushree Building at 33 Ajmeri Gate. If you have ever been to Ajmeri Gate, you know it is one of the most crowded and chaotic parts of the city. It is the heart of the old trading district. Our office is right in the thick of it. We deal with metal strips and hardware-related items. The Raghushree Building is an older structure, and our space on the first floor is functional and packed with records. It is a lot of manual work and traditional trading. We do not have much room for anything that isn't essential. There are shelves of samples and folders full of invoices. The noise from the street below never really stops—honking horns and people shouting. We have grown used to it over the years. We spend our time talking to dealers and customers who come in from all over. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We do not do the whole modern corporate culture thing. It is more about personal relationships and knowing your products. We have been here a long time and seen the market change, but the core of what we do remains the same. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it is worth it to be in such a central location for the hardware trade. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day’s orders.
