About Golden Painting Press – Coating & Finishing in North Delhi
Golden Painting Press is tucked away in Gali Sattewali 4106, right off Nai Sarak. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes can get. We have been here for years, operating our machines in a space that always smells like ink and fresh paper. It’s a bit noisy when the presses are running, but we have gotten used to it over time. We handle all kinds of printing jobs, mostly smaller batches for local people or businesses nearby. Sometimes it’s just cards, other times it might be flyers or basic forms. We don't have the newest digital machines you see in the big malls, but our equipment gets the job done well enough. Most of our day is spent setting up the plates, checking the alignment, and making sure the colors aren't running too light or too dark. It takes a bit of patience to get the paper feeding correctly without it jamming. The light in the shop isn't the best, so we often have to step outside to see how the final print really looks in the sun. We are just a small group of people working here, trying to keep up with the orders that come in. Nai Sarak is famous for paper and books, so we are right in the middle of everything. It’s hard work, and the hours can be long when a deadline is close, but we just keep at it.
