Gobind Tyre

Our shop, Gobind Tyre, is located at B-3/12 in Model Town, very close to the metro stations. It is a convenient spot for people to pull over when they realize they have a nail in their tyre or if the steering feels a bit wobbly. The shop is basically a large room filled with stacks of rubber tyres of all different sizes. The smell of new rubber is very strong here, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We spend most of our time lifting heavy wheels and using the machines to change tyres or balance them. It is physical work and it can be quite tiring on the arms and back. We have an old machine for wheel alignment that we use all day long. We don't have a fancy office or a place for people to sit down, so most customers just hang out by the door or watch the traffic while we work. We try to be quick because we know people are usually in a hurry to get to work or go home. We have seen all kinds of cars come through here, from old models to the brand-new ones. It is a simple business with no hidden tricks. If your tyre is bald, we tell you it needs changing. If it’s just a puncture, we fix it and get you moving.
