G K Steel & Wire Products

We've been here at M-69 in Greater Kailash I for a long time now. It’s just a regular shop where we deal with all kinds of steel and wire products. People come in looking for specific gauges of wire or steel rods for their small home projects or bigger jobs. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with the stock lying around, but we manage to find what people need. My father started things here and now I take care of most of the daily orders. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a place where we keep the materials and load them onto the trucks. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first opened, but we are still in the same spot. Most days are spent checking the inventory and talking to the regular contractors who stop by. We don't really do much advertising around here. People just know we're here and they come by. The steel business can be a bit tough because the prices change all the time, but we try to keep things moving as best as we can. We handle a lot of different types of wire too, some thin ones and some really thick ones for fencing. If you walk past the shop, you'll see rolls of it stacked up near the entrance. It's a lot of manual work, lifting and moving heavy stuff, but that is how it goes. We just focus on getting items to the people who need them. Nothing too complicated.
