Fortis Hospital

We are tucked away at 1728 Sui Walan in Gali Mohd Hanif. This is a very different kind of place compared to the big modern sectors. The lanes are narrow and there is so much history in the walls here. You can’t really drive a big car right up to the door; it’s better to walk or take a cycle rickshaw. Fortis Hospital has this spot in a very old part of the neighborhood. It’s vibrant and loud, with the smells of cooking and the sound of people talking right outside the windows. The building is old, and it has some quirks. Maybe the floor isn't perfectly level in some spots, or the doors creak a little when it’s humid. But it’s a real place with a lot of character. We know all the neighbors, and they know us. There’s a sense of being right in the middle of everything. We don’t have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in from the street and you are there. It’s a very practical setup for the people who live in this area. We do our best to keep things organized despite the tight space. It’s a lot of work to manage a hospital in such a crowded area, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we have a rhythm. It’s not like the movies, it’s just everyday life in the Gali.
