Fortis Hospital

We are based in A Block of Shalimar Bagh. This is the place where we show up every morning to get through the day's work. The building is a familiar sight for anyone living in this part of North Delhi. It is a large facility, and being in A Block means we are right in the thick of things. The surrounding area has plenty of parks and houses, but once you get closer to our gates, the traffic starts to pick up. Inside, the floors are usually busy with staff and visitors moving back and forth between the wings. It is not a fancy place, just a working hospital where the focus is on the people who come in. We spend our time in the hallways and offices, making sure things are where they should be. Some of the windows look out over the residential streets, and you can see the daily life of the neighborhood going on outside while we are busy inside. The lobby is often full, especially during visiting hours, and the sound of conversation is pretty constant. We have been part of this A Block community for years now. It is a place where we have seen a lot happen, and the routine of the hospital is something we all know by heart. The shifts can be long, but there is a sense of just doing what needs to be done. It is easy to find us if you are in the Shalimar Bagh area, just head toward the A Block section.
