Fine Shocker

Our shop, Fine Shocker, is tucked away in Chandni Chowk at 7/54-1/18-F. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how the lanes are narrow and crowded. We work mostly on shock absorbers and suspension parts for vehicles. It’s a specialized kind of work, but we do it in a very old-school way. The shop is small, and there are old parts and tools hanging everywhere. Most of the time, our hands are covered in oil or grime from taking things apart. We get a lot of people coming in because their cars or bikes are bouncing too much on the bad roads. We take a look, see what can be fixed, and get to it. It is a loud area with all the rickshaws and people shouting, but we’ve spent so many years here that we don't even notice the noise anymore. The address can be a bit tricky to find if it’s your first time, but the locals can usually point you toward us. We don't have any fancy signs or digital displays. We just have our workbench and the experience of doing this for a long time. It’s a humble place. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the day. Chandni Chowk has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of that rhythm at our little corner in 7/54-1/18-F.
