Era Constructions (I) Ltd. Delhi

Our place is in the New Millennium Apartment over in Rohini. Being in Sector-21 is nice because it’s a bit quieter than the big main markets. We use room 203 as our home base. Most of the time, the guys are out at various sites across Delhi, so the office is mostly for the planning and the boring stuff. It feels more like a lived-in space than a stiff corporate office. We have files and blueprints stacked up everywhere because there is always some document that needs a signature. Neighbors see us coming and going with rolls of drawings under our arms. We try not to bother anyone too much. Rohini has changed quite a bit since we started working here. There are more buildings and more people every year. We fit right into that growth. We don’t have a big neon sign outside, just a small one to let people know where we are. Sometimes it is hard to find a parking spot near the apartments, which is a bit of a pain. We usually eat our lunch together at the big desk. It is practical and saves time. We focus on the actual building work and making sure the sites have what they need. If a machine breaks down, we hear about it here first. Then the phone doesn't stop ringing for hours. It’s just the way the construction business works and you learn to handle the stress.
