Epoch Impex Private Limited is located at Kashmiri Gate. We are at 778/1 on the ground floor of Nicholson Road. It’s an old part of Delhi, very crowded and full of history. The Ritz Cinema is just nearby, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. This area is famous for all sorts of spare parts and trade. Our shop isn't very large, but it’s packed with stuff. We spend a lot of time moving boxes around and checking the inventory. It’s noisy outside from dawn till dusk with all the trucks and loaders moving through the narrow streets. We’ve been here quite some time now. The walls are a bit faded, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it works fine. We handle impex work, which means a lot of customs papers and dealing with suppliers. Sometimes the tea guy forgets our order, so one of us has to walk down the street to remind him. Working in Chandni Chowk area means you have to be patient with the traffic. You can’t really rush anything here. We know the other shopkeepers on the row quite well. We share news about the market prices and the new regulations over lunch. It’s a practical life, nothing like those modern offices in Gurgaon. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. When the monsoon hits, the streets get a bit flooded, so we have to keep everything off the floor. It’s just how things are in this part of town.
