Eiksandesh Social Foundation

If you go down to Bhagwan Bazar, you will find Eiksandesh Social Foundation right in the middle of all the market activity. It is a very busy spot, especially on the days when the local vendors are out in full force with their carts. Our space is tucked away from the main noise of the street, but you can still feel the energy of the bazaar coming through the walls. We chose this location because it is where people naturally gather for their daily needs. The office itself is quite small, mostly filled with stacks of files and a couple of old computers that we use for our daily tasks. We do not have a formal receptionist or a fancy lobby. Usually, whoever is sitting closest to the door just looks up and says hello when someone walks in. Most of the time, we are busy coordinating local things or talking to neighbors about what is going on in the town. The floor is plain concrete and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it is on high, but we have grown used to it over the months. Working in Bhagwan Bazar means we see a lot of different faces every single day. We try to keep things straightforward and do not spend money on things we do not absolutely need. It is a very practical way to run things. We take our lunch breaks together and usually get something from the food shops nearby. It is just a normal part of life for us.
