Dr Madhus Ultrasound Clinic

Our spot is F 19 A on Hudson Lane in Vijay Nagar. It is a lively area especially because of all the students and families living around here. The address is easy to remember once you find the lane. We are tucked into the F block. Inside the clinic, we have a few rooms set aside for the ultrasound scans. It has to stay fairly dark in those rooms so we can see the screens clearly. We spend a lot of our day in the dim light moving the probes around. The waiting area has a few benches and a clock on the wall that ticks a bit too loudly when it is quiet. Vijay Nagar is always full of people moving about so there is a constant sound of scooters outside. We have a small desk where we keep all the files and the phone. It rings pretty often. We try to keep the place cool because the machines generate a bit of heat. The floor is tiled and easy to mop at the end of the shift. We have a small sink in the corner for washing up. It is not a very big space but we make it work for everyone who comes in. Sometimes we have to tell people to wait a bit longer if a scan takes more time than we thought. We have been here for years now and the Vijay Nagar neighborhood just keeps getting busier.
