Dr. Kuumar'S Clinic

You can find us at C-59 on Rajan Babu Road, right in the heart of Adarsh Nagar. It’s one of those houses turned into a clinic, so it feels a bit more like a home than a hospital. The street outside can get pretty noisy with all the rickshaws and people going about their business, but inside we try to keep it relatively calm. We’ve got a blue sign out front that’s faded a little over the years. Inside, the walls are a pale cream color. There is a small desk where we handle the registration and a few benches for people to wait. Sometimes the wait is short, and other times it stretches out if there’s a complicated case. We see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood. It’s nice knowing the families who live just a few blocks away. My assistant usually has the radio on low, playing some old songs while we work. The lighting isn’t the brightest, but it’s enough to see what we are doing. We keep a stash of water in the corner because it gets really stuffy when the sun hits the front of the building in the middle of the day. It is just a regular place where we spend our mornings and evenings. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or shiny lobbies, just the basics to help out the folks who live nearby. It’s been this way for years now.
