Diabetes Clinic

We have been here in Gujranwala Town Part 2 for a while now. The clinic is right on the first floor over at 7 G T Karnal Road. It isn't a huge place, but it works for what we need to do. Most days are just busy with folks coming in to check their blood sugar or talk about their meds. We see people from all over this part of the city. Usually, the morning is the craziest time because everyone wants to get their tests done before breakfast. It gets pretty loud in the waiting area sometimes when the tea man comes by. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit much for some of the older patients, but we try to help them up if we see them struggling. We keep a lot of files in the back office, mostly paper ones because that is just how we started doing things years ago. Sometimes the traffic outside on G T Karnal Road is so loud you can barely hear the doctor talking, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have fancy leather chairs or anything like that. Just some plastic ones that are easy to wipe down at the end of the shift. Most of our patients have been coming here for years, so we know their families and how their kids are doing. It feels more like a community spot than a medical office some days. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
