Devlopment Alternatives

Our office is situated over at C-5 in the New Police Lines area, near Kingsway Campv in Delhi. It’s a busy part of the city, and there’s always something happening outside our windows with people and traffic constantly moving. We’ve been working out of this space for quite some time now. Devlopment Alternatives is located in a functional space where we handle all our daily tasks and project planning. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters. There are piles of reports on the desks and maps pinned to the walls. We spend a lot of time on the phone or in meetings, trying to figure out the logistics of different initiatives we’re involved in. Working in Delhi means you’re always fighting the clock and the traffic, but we make it work. We aren't here to give you a polished sales pitch or some brochure filled with empty promises. We are just a group of people who are busy with the practical side of development work. Some days are spent entirely on paperwork and boring emails, and other days we are out and about. We grab tea from the stall nearby and talk through whatever issues have come up that morning. It’s a very grounded way of working. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles or a designer office. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to make progress on our projects day by day. That is how we keep things going here.
