We are located at A-4 in the Dda Flats near Turkman Gate on Asaf Ali Road. It’s an interesting spot because you’ve got the old city on one side and the newer commercial areas on the other. Destiny Art is a small operation where we focus on various art pieces and creative work. The office is basically one of the flats that we’ve converted into a workspace. It’s full of supplies, half-finished projects, and lots of coffee mugs. We aren't a big gallery with white walls and fancy lighting. It’s more of a workshop where we actually get our hands dirty. Turkman Gate is a historic place, and sometimes the atmosphere of the area finds its way into the things we make. The neighbors are a mix of families and other small offices, so it’s never quiet around here. We spend a lot of time just experimenting with different materials to see what works best for each piece. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything; we just like making things that look good and selling them to people who appreciate the effort. Sometimes the logistics of being in a Dda flat can be a bit tricky, like when we have to move larger items down the stairs, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. It’s a humble place, but it works for us. If you’re ever walking down Asaf Ali Road, we’re just a short distance from the gate. It's a good life.
