Delhi Pollution Control Commitee, Govt Of Nct Delhi

If you head over to Sector-3 in Rohini, you’ll find us at F-25/18. This is the Delhi Pollution Control Commitee office, which is part of the Govt Of Nct Delhi. It’s a standard government building, nothing too special to look at. We have a lot of registers and files stacked up everywhere. The hallways are narrow and the paint is peeling a little bit in the corners. That’s just the way it is here. We spend our days looking at reports and checking on environmental stuff. It can be a bit dry, but it’s important for the city. We don't have a polished lobby or anything like that. You walk in and see people at their desks, typing away or talking on the phone. Sometimes the ceiling fans are a bit noisy, making it hard to hear, but we’re used to it. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s fairly quiet outside compared to central Delhi. We take our tea breaks together in the small back area. We aren't big on fancy words or marketing. We just follow the rules and do the paperwork that comes across our desks. It’s a small office with a big responsibility, but we take it one day at a time. It feels like a community here because many of us have worked together for years. We just keep things moving without much fuss or fanfare.
