Deepak Mfg. Co.

We are over at 5531 Basti Harphool Singh, up on the second floor of the Sethi Building on Sadar Thana Road. Deepak Mfg. Co. has been in this building for quite some time now. It’s a busy part of town, and the Sethi Building is always full of people moving goods up and down the stairs. Our space is crowded with machinery and materials. It’s not exactly quiet, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the machines. We focus on manufacturing, so most of our day is spent making sure everything is running right. The light in the workshop is a bit dim, but we have enough lamps over the workbenches. We don't have a fancy sign or a big lobby. Usually, people just knock on the heavy door and walk in. There’s a lot of grease and metal scraps around, so it’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where we work. We have a small desk near the window where we handle the invoices and the phone calls. The traffic on Sadar Thana Road is always a nightmare, so we try to get our supplies delivered early in the morning. My brother and I run the place with a couple of helpers. We don't do much marketing; we just rely on the folks who have been buying from us for years. It’s just a regular factory life for us.
