Deendukhi Divyang Foundation

Deendukhi Divyang Foundation is located over in Jahangirpuri. We are in the DDA flats, specifically Flat No-108-Z on the second floor of Block A. It’s right across from the main landmark area, so it’s pretty easy to find if you know the neighborhood. We’ve been here for a bit now. This whole thing started because we wanted to help people with disabilities who don’t always get the support they need in a crowded city like Delhi. Life is tough enough, and it’s even harder when things aren't built for you. We aren't a corporate group with lots of money. We are just local people working out of a flat. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much, but we make it work. Most of our days are spent meeting families and trying to sort out daily problems. It’s not always easy and we make mistakes sometimes, but we try hard. The office is small and usually has papers everywhere, but it’s where everything happens. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything flashy. We just stay here in Jahangirpuri and do what we can. If you ever need to find us, just look for Block A. It's a busy part of town but we like being right in the middle of it all.
