Even though the name says Gurgaon we are actually over here at the Jaina Building in Delhi, number 45. It’s the 110007 zip code area so it’s got that old city feel where everything is a bit cramped but somehow it all works out. The building itself has seen a lot of years go by. We have our space set up with desks and samples scattered around. It’s usually a bit of a mess if we are being honest because we are always looking at different materials or papers. It gets quite noisy outside with the traffic and people shouting but once you’re inside you sort of get used to the hum of it all. We spend our time sourcing things and trying to figure out where to get what is needed. It’s a lot of phone calls and writing things down in notebooks that we sometimes lose under a pile of other stuff. We aren't trying to be some high-end studio with minimalist furniture. We just have what we need to get the job done. The stairs in the building are a bit steep and the lighting could be better but it’s home for us during the work hours. Most days we are just trying to keep track of orders and making sure everything gets to the right place. It’s a lot of back and forth but that’s the nature of this kind of business.
