Choudhary Trading Co.

If you’ve ever been to Bhagirath Place in Chandni Chowk, you know how crowded it gets. Our shop, Choudhary Trading Co., is at 1681/11, and it is right in the middle of all that chaos. Delhi is always loud, but this part of town is something else. We spend our days surrounded by boxes and people looking for electrical parts. There is barely enough room to move some mornings when the new stock arrives. We deal with all sorts of trading items, mostly stuff that people need for their shops or homes. The walls are lined with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It’s an old building, so the wiring looks a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Usually, one of us is sitting at the small desk near the front while the others are helping customers or moving crates in the back. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon. It gets very hot in the summer months, and the little fans we have don't do much, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any fancy signs or a big website. Most people find us just by walking through the market or because they’ve known us for years. It’s a busy life here in Delhi, and we just keep at it every day from morning until the market shuts down in the evening.
