Our place is in Delhi, specifically at A-3/67 Sector-5 Rohini. It’s a busy part of the city, and the pin code is 110085. Checkpoint Systems India Pvt Ltd has been based here for a while. The street outside is always full of cars and people moving about. We have a small office space that gets a lot of sunlight in the morning. Sometimes the air conditioner is a bit loud, but it keeps us cool during the Delhi summers. We have a few desks pushed together. It’s not a corporate skyscraper or anything like that. Just a regular room where we do our work. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood coming through the windows, people calling out and horns honking. It’s just part of the atmosphere in Sector-5. We usually have stacks of paper on the corners of the tables. Sometimes we lose a pen and find it a week later under a chair. We aren’t trying to be anything special, just people doing our jobs. The building is a bit old, but it works for us. We know the local shopkeepers nearby. When we walk to get lunch, we see the same faces. It feels like a small community even though Delhi is so huge. We just keep our heads down and get through the tasks we have for the day. That is how we spend our time in Rohini.
