Swastik Radio

Our shop is number 483 in the Old Lajpat Rai Market. If you have ever been to this market, you know it is a very crowded and noisy place. It is one of the oldest markets for electronics and parts. We have been here for a very long time, back when radios were the main thing everyone wanted to buy or fix. That’s why we are still called Swastik Radio. The shop itself is tiny. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, packed with all sorts of components and gadgets. It is a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is kept. There is no air conditioning or fancy furniture here. We just have a small counter and some stools. You have to shout sometimes to be heard over the noise of the market outside. We don't do any big advertising campaigns. Most of our work comes from people walking by or old customers who have been coming to us for twenty or thirty years. It is a tough way to work sometimes, especially in the heat of summer, but it is what we know. We enjoy being part of the history of Lajpat Rai Market. Every day is different and you never know who is going to walk through the door looking for some obscure part. We just do our best to find it for them.
