Chandhok Motor Stores

We are located in the Shiv Motor Market at Kashmere Gate, Shop No 1089/15. If you know this area, you know how busy the motor market gets with parts and mechanics everywhere. Our shop is packed floor to ceiling with motor parts. We have shelves that are so full they look like they might bend, but they hold up. I usually wear an old shirt because everything here is a bit greasy or dusty. That is just how it is when you handle engine components all day long. The market is a maze of small shops, and we have been in this particular spot for quite some time. It is a lot of walking back and forth to find the exact part someone needs for an old model. I have a ledger where I keep track of things, though most of it is just in my head now. The tea man comes around every hour, and that is usually the only break we get. The noise from the main road is constant, with horns honking and people shouting for space. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just a shop for people who need to get their vehicles back on the road. We stay open late because that is when the mechanics finish their daily work and come looking for supplies for the next morning. It is hard work, but it is what we do.
