Calex Auto is based in Sector 33. It’s an easy enough place to find, though the parking right in front can be a bit of a nightmare during peak hours. We’ve got a decent-sized garage space where we work on various cars and bikes. It’s not a sterile environment like those high-end dealerships. Here, you’ll find oil stains on the floor and the smell of old engines in the air. I think it gives the place character. We started this because we genuinely enjoy working with our hands. Most of our tools are old but they still work better than the new cheap ones you find these days. We don't have a receptionist. If you walk in and don't see anyone, just shout, and one of us will crawl out from under a car. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the vehicles leaving here are running properly. Sometimes the radio is playing too loud, but it helps us get through the long afternoons. Sector 33 is a good spot, and we get a lot of regulars who wouldn't go anywhere else. We don't do fancy advertising or social media posts. We just rely on doing a decent job so people come back next time their brakes squeak or their engine starts making a weird noise. It’s simple work, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just fixing one car at a time.
